Part 1
Maya: Thanks for coming, everyone. The Youth Center Open Day is next month, and I’m leading our student planning group. We need activities that show visitors what teenagers actually enjoy doing here.
Noah: Great. I’d definitely like something sporty. I’m not the best player in the world, but I really enjoy playing basketball and doing sport with other people.
Priya: I’d like to help with the organization. I enjoy helping people, and I’ve done some volunteering before. I also like working with younger children.
Ethan: My interests are completely different. I’m into music, especially live music, and I like computers and trying new apps and games.
Maya: Perfect. I’m interested in photography, and I love cooking and trying food from different countries. So we already have sport, volunteering, music, technology, photography and food. That’s enough general ideas. Now we need specific activities.
Part 2
Priya: We could organize a games area for younger children. I could also run a volunteer information corner where local groups explain how teenagers can help.
Ethan: How about a small live music show? We could ask two local teen bands. And I’d like a computer corner where people can try useful apps and games or get software tips.
Noah: I’d like a three-on-three basketball competition. We could also have a sports challenge with simple activities for people who don’t play basketball.
Maya: Great. I’ll add a photography booth where visitors can take funny pictures. And we can have an international snack table with small foods from different countries.
Maya: Excellent. That gives us eight activities. Let’s take these ideas to the youth center manager tomorrow.

Gerund – Build the Right Form
Use the -ing form after many verbs, adjectives + prepositions and as the subject of a sentence.
